On August 3, 2019, the latest solo exhibition View - Human Landscape by the painter Miyuki Tsugami will open in the Nagasaki Prefectural Museum of Art. On display are 54 drawings and two landscape paintings about 3 meters wide. The drawings were originally created as an illustration of the follow-up novel Goodbye by Asai Makate, published in Asahi Shimbun in 2018. The two oil paintings thematize the famous festival Nagasaki Kunchi, which originated in the Edo period (1603-1868).
