YOSHIAKI KAIHATSU - MAJOR SOLO EXHIBITION AT THE MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY TOKYO
09.02.2024
From August 3 to November 10, 2024, the Museum of Contemporary Tokyo is dedicating an extensive solo exhibition to Japanese artist Yoshiaki Kaihatsu. In his work, Kaihatsu uses everyday objects to explore social issues and themes of our time. His sculptures, installations and performances have an emphatically playful and open approach. In the upcoming solo exhibition, central projects and works from his artistic oeuvre to date will be shown alongside a selection of participatory works. The exhibition will be accompanied by a varied program of public performances and workshops, offering the public opportunities for encounters and dialogue. Anyone traveling to Tokyo this summer should not miss this solo exhibition.
