In 2002, Mikiko Sato founded a gallery in Hamburg specializing in contemporary Japanese art.
The gallery focuses on conceptual works that embody poetic sensibility and a close relationship with nature.
Serving as a cultural bridge between Japan and Europe, it fosters exchange between artists and audiences, and actively engages in international artistic dialogue.
Over the years, she has conceived and coordinated several international exchange projects in collaboration with museums and public institutions.
