Between Cosmos and Here–
宇宙とこことのあいだ
In our daily lives on Earth, we often find ourselves surrounded by tensions, oppositions, and conflicts.
Yet from the perspective of the cosmos, many of these events appear small and fleeting.
This exhibition does not seek to present a monumental image of the cosmos.
Rather, it invites us to quietly reconsider the relationship between the cosmos and our immediate existence.
When we listen to the wind,
focus our gaze on fine particles floating in the light,
or notice the inconspicuous scenes of everyday life,
we begin to sense that the cosmos does not exist only in the distance,
but is already present here.
Between the cosmos and our daily world, a space emerges
in which our perception—almost like in a state of gentle drowsiness—
subtly begins to shift.
A drop of water,
a single flower,
a leaf,
the flow of a river,
the sound of insects,
each and every person…
Within small things,
I sense the cosmos.
