Humans and animals not only share the habitat on this planet; they are connected to each other through a variety of relationships. More or less socially organized, they go through life as individuals, pairs or collectives, often in changing constellations. In many cases, images of animals reflect human behaviour and allow viewers to recognize themselves as humans in (depicted) animals.
