A lot has happened on the website of the photo and video artist Shingo Yoshida in the past few weeks. A total of 45 full-length video works from the period 2002-2020 are now available for you to view. You can even download a trailer collection from the Film Excerpts section. In addition to the new film archive, there is now a complete collection of all 88 artistic projects in catalog form as a PDF. This film and catalog archive offers a unique opportunity to understand Yoshida's artistic development in detail.

New Artist: Chisei Kobayashi

It is a great pleasure for us to introduce Chisei Kobayashi to you today. The artist into one of three young artists we were able to win for our gallery as part of the current group exhibition New Japanese Painting. After graduating from Tohoku University of Arts and Design in 2017, Kobayashi has already participated in a number of group exhibitions in Japan. Awarded the Excel Tower Prize of the JR Tower ARTBOX in 2019. With New Japanese Painting, her work is now publicly visible outside of Japan for the first time. New Artist: Yumi Nakata

We are very happy to welcome Yumi Nakata as a new member of the artists we represent. She is represented with four paintings in front of three large-scale collage works in the current group exhibition New Japanese Painting. Despite her young age, Yumi Nakata can already look back on an extensive exhibition history in Japan.
